angelKat Entertainment at London MCM Comic Con

Very soon we’ll be heading to London for MCM Comic Con at the ExCel once again! You can find us in the Comic Village at TABLE J5 – there’s a map below to help.

As always we’ll have our (sometimes queer) comics, art prints, and more for sale AND we’ll be sketching strange and wonderful things all weekend. So if you’ve ever wanted to see what you’d look like as an angelKat, particularly want a sketch of Tom Hiddleston’s bottom, or want to leave it in the hands of our automatic “Sketch Machine of Doooooom!” and get something a little bit more unexpected (e.g. Vikings discovering Disco) you should come and say hello!

Table J5 in the Comic Village at London MCM Comic Con - angelKat Entertainment

MCM has a ton of great guests, talks, etc. so if you’re into pop culture, or just generally geeking out it’s a weekend not to be missed. But if you do miss it – remember to mark it in your calendar for next year (London shows tend to be the last full weekends of May and October).

As with all large events (and MCM has boasted 110,000+ attendances) be careful with your valuables, I wish it wasn’t the case but there are pickpockets at large events and definitely something to be aware of when travelling around a city that you’re unfamiliar with. Make sure you drink plenty of water, it’s easier than you might think to get dehydrated in the busy and warm confines of a convention hall. Venue security and MCM staff are available for information and assistance if needed and the information booth can give you directions if needed too. It’s generally considered polite to ask cosplayers etc. permission before taking photos – this means that you get a better photo because they get to pose AND they get to see the show too or rest for a moment and get something to eat in relative peace (and it’s never okay to touch them without  permission).

Generally though just have fun, meet new friends, hang out with old ones, talk to artists, play games, watch panels, fan girl over your favourite famous people… maybe even buy yourself a copy of Fera.

Make sure to follow us on Twitter and Instagram as we’ll be posting photos etc. over the weekend from the show!
